Semi-solid metal forming of aluminum
The semi-solid metal forming is heating and melting metals (in block) in a boiler with high temperature, and when the metal becomes semi-solid and fluid, a robotic arm is applied to pour the liquid metal into the barrel of the molding machine. Under the pressure of the plunger, the molten metal is compressed and moved forward into the molds. After a certain period of cooling and setting, the molds are opened to obtain the product. Generally, the molded products are processed with NC for special surface and drilling.
INJ molding is a process of producing parts made with thermoplastic or thermoset plastic.
Plastics (mostly pellets) are heated and melted in the barrel of an injection molding machine. When it becomes fluid, the molten plastic is compressed with the plunger or screw and moved forward, then through the nozzle at the front of the barrel, the plastic is injected into the molds with lower temperature swiftly. After a certain period of cooling and setting, the dies are opened to obtain the product.
