Low carbon-emission economy
Facing the challenges of carbon-reduction and climate change, we continuously promote process optimization and digital transformation, and formulate strategies to cope with the climate. In the general direction, it is planned to add guidelines related to environment, social, and governance (ESG), and committed to reducing CO2 emission.

Goals:
Green energy installation goal by 2021: accounting for 10% of the total power consumption, and is also the goal for future optimization.
good intentions of the government that enterprises work together for energy saving and carbon reduction, we have decided to introduce the solar energy power generation equipment. Currently, solar energy power accounts for 24.1% of the total consumed power and the expected goal has been achieved. Meanwhile, we move forward towards the goal of reducing consumption of valuable energy resources.

Environmental sustainability
As the increasing amount of concepts about green environment and eco economy, these are incorporated into the management mindset to promote the goal of energy saving, carbon reduction and lower pollutions. They not only fulfill the responsibility of environment protection, but also increase the product and service quality.

Goals:
  • VOC: reduced by 1% or more per year
  • CO2: reduced by 3% or more per year
  • CO2: reduced by 3% or more per year
  • Expected target: achieved in 2020.
  • Installation of VOC pollution preventive equipment for foaming equipment and optimization: reduced VOC volume is lowered to 0.059 ton/year (at the reduction rate of 10% continuously)
  • Establish the modification plan for bunker oil boilers. From 2017, natural gas boilers have been installed in the operation zones to replace the required energy consumption with natural resources for reduced carbon emissions. The CO2 emission is improved at the rate of 250 tons/year. (CO2 emission before and after the installation: greatly reduced by 40%)

We value the physical and mental health management of employees. The Company have taken managerial measures corresponding to employees’ physical and mental health issues; the employees are led to address the related issues correctly.   • Appropriating expenditures to build various sport facilities, so that the employees can improve their physical and mental health through exercises.
  • With the assistance from the onsite medical services, the monthly Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides professional assistance for psychotherapy and counseling of individual employee.
  • The fitness center accessible by every employee was established so that employees can exercise during their spare time to mitigate the fatigue brought by pressures at work, and improve their health.
